Very well decorated, appropriate music to enjoy dinner. The dishes combined very well, with regional products, good presentation and very delicious! The suggestion of excellent Rioja wine!! Excellent atention. Very good quality-price ratio. I think it is one of the most expensive places in the capital of Rioja. We felt cheated, when we looked at the menu and saw the prices we were , but well we were already there, we had walked a lot and with this heat wave and a thermal sensation of 40 degrees (at night) the only thing we wanted was snack and drink something. We ordered some rabas and some baked vegetables, just that and 7 350 ml drinks (there were 5 of us) and the joke was $21,300 pesos!! An atrocity! I understand inflation and everything but they can't rob you like that, I have eaten more and better elsewhere for less. On top of that, they charge you for the cutlery, if they are going to provide a service like that of a restaurant, the utensils are something that the client should not pay to use, there is no way they can eat with their hands!! The attention is unbeatable! On the menu you will find tailfish, salmon, trout... and a typical dish such as goat... "I don't have any more" said the Mosa. Perhaps the name Origenes of the restaurant did not refer to the original cuisine of La Rioja, but to the origins of life that was actually in the sea. If you like cuartirolo cheese with American ice cream, don't miss the cayote mousse with goat cheese! (by the way it was pure sarcasm). Perhaps the restaurant was good the first years of its opening, today only vestiges remain, as does the Chilecito cable lane. Tips for travelers: wash your hands in the hotel before leaving since there is no soap in the bathroom. The food is not bad, but I think it is not in line with the description of the place or the prices.
