An absolute delight would be an understatement. We decided to spring for the halibut and heck, best decision ive made all year. The owner is wonderfully charming and I cannot wait to visit him and this adorable foodcart pod again. Best fish and chips we've ever had, proof in image attached. Batter is light and crisp, fish is perfectly tender and moist(sorry i dont like the word either but theres no getting around it here). Be like me, go for the halibut and you'll be a happy clam!! Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So here is the thing, I love this place it’s some of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had, everything is crispy and made perfect their fried and fish are amazing. Here’s the but BUT I live in the neighborhood and have tried to come back three times. I came here once on a Saturday during the day around noon, but the whole last week I’ve tried coming here the google hours do not reflect correct to the hours they are open. I have showed up at 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, i just want to come back and have amazing fish and chips please update your business hours so I know when to show up lol. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

The Original Halibuts in NE PDX is seriously the best. It tastes just as fresh (if not more) than the coast. Seriously. The owner and his wife are super nice and they really seem to have THE best freshest halibut, cod, salmon, catfish, coconut shrimp, prawns.. They also make all of their own tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, coleslaw and clam chowder. And they seriously perfect everything! Best clam chowder! Everyone I’ve ever taken there agrees that it’s seriously the best spot for seafood! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
