Looking to fill up my Lounge Passport, I visited Orso Lounge in Congleton to grab a drink to get another Lounge Stamp, and I’m glad that I did. This is a really nice Lounge, on Bridge Street, in the town centre, it has the usual vibes and fantastic gluten-free selection that I love about the Loungers chain. The interior is large and spacious and has lots of comfortable seating, ideal to relax, while the mobile signal here isn’t great, there is WiFi available, which is easy to connect to. I ended up having just a drink on this occasion, opting for the Lychee and Blueberry Bubble Tea. I wasn’t a huge fan of this, and it was slightly syrupy, but as bubble tea isn’t something I order too often, it could just be down to personal preference. The service here is great, the staff member who served me seemed genuinely happy to be there, and passionate about the Loungers brand. We spoke about my favourite journeys and how he actually worked at one of my favourite Lounges back in Manchester. He helped talk about the meaning of the Lounge with Orso, meaning “Bear”, which was pretty cool. I had a nice time here and would return if I’m ever in Congleton again.
