Inside was a little mosh mash of decor, but the service was terrible. From the phone call to make a reservation through the end of the meal. My boyfriend and I kept looking at each other in disbelief. Food was average but the service made it all unpleasant. We heard the restaurant is closing and I’m not surprised..we wouldn’t have been back anyway. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend

Food was fairly bland, and many items on the menu they were out of, the service was awful which I almost never say but they forgot many of our parties food and took about 1.5 hours to get food. The location is nice but they need to improve service and foods for brunch. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Stopped by Pivo Riverplace on a beautiful day in Minneapolis to grab brunch with some friends. We were all excited to check out this new place and enjoy the beautiful patio. Unfortunately, we were quickly met with disappointment as our party of 6 was too large to be seated outside for some reason, but we accepted and sat inside. Once inside, we were sat at a large table in the middle of a very large and empty restaurant. The decor is eclectic to say the least, but had an outdated style that definitely didn't match the menu. The menu for brunch has a decent number of choices at a sort of medium price range I'd say. However, when it was our time to order, like half the things our group tried to order were already out of stock which was very frustrating. Eventually, I ordered a breakfast sandwich with the Gouda hash. Although it was my second choice, I was very excited to try it. However, it didn't live up to the excitement I had built for it. The sandwich tasted almost exactly the same as a McDonald's breakfast sandwich and the gouda hash which I was most excited for was super bland and not enjoyable. On top of all of this, we had a lot of issues with service - The wrong drinks were brought out more than once, our waitress made a substitution of sausage for my friend without even consulting them after realizing they were out of bacon and only told them when the food was being handed to us. And lastly, we waited super long to get our food, place our order, and get the check. Overall, sad that it was so disappointing because the location is so ideal and there was so much potential. I think the patio vibes may be redeeming, but keep in mind that you have to come with a very small group to get seated there.
