Oshen at the St. Regis was an experience from the moment we arrived. The property itself is stunning — from the dramatic lighting installations and ocean views to the beautifully maintained grounds filled with vibrant flowers and palms. We visited around sunset, and the fire ritual ceremony added such a unique and memorable atmosphere to the evening. The food and drinks matched the ambiance perfectly — fresh and beautifully presented. One especially thoughtful detail was how the entire property transitioned to amber/orange lighting after sunset for turtle season. It created such a unique ambiance while also showing care for the local wildlife and coastline. Small touches like this are what made the experience stand out even more. The resort is nice. The staff at the bar was just OK. It took forever to get a drink. It took forever to pay. We were not made to feel welcome as a party of only two. You’re better off ordering a drink, paying for it immediately, and walking down to the beach to watch the sunset. Debatable on whether I will come here again. Plenty of other beautiful spots to watch sunset in the area. I’m a local. Meal type: Other Price per person: $50–60 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
