Stopped in for dinner while touring Floyd. Ordered our food and were told about 30 minutes. After waiting 45-50 minutes and watching several people who came on after we did get their food, I asked for a status on our order. She was very rude in her response and attitude, came back twice more to ask what we ordered. She discovered that another table got our order and had already eaten all of it and went to that table apologizing for about 5 minutes to them and comped their meal. We waited at least another 15 minutes for our food. The other people were apologizing for the mix up and the waitress told them we were fine with it. We told her we had a long drive to our hotel and were hoping to see the town before everything closed, she told us it would be fine, we could come back another time to visit. Food was decent, but too aggravated and tired to eat at that point. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

This place is a slice of Hippie Heaven with a serious BBQ option. PERFECT! The unconventional layout replete with a psychedelic school bus and small stage harkens back to the daze when real hippies roamed the earth. The food is fresh, well prepared with ample portions. Best of all this place reminds of my day's touring with the Grateful Dead and communing with fellow misfits in all manners of adventure and merriment! Thank you OuterSpace!! We have been to Floyd before but never had the pleasure of eating at Outer Space...we loved it! The food is great but the atmosphere is the best...from the outdoor seating to the Magic Bus with some of the best hippie paraphernalia around! Highly recommend...do not visit Floyd without hanging out here!
