Chicken parm was my craving this particular evening. Earlier in the day a long time resident recommended Ovalon. Together a plan was made. Easy to find with local parking on the street opposite the post office. Great picture opportunities. I was almost fooled by the glass entrance, but reading helped find the right door. Promptly I was encouraged to select my own table. I chose the unique corner table for two on a platform under the window. Clean and classy describes the room and the menu. Cheerily, Angie described the specials in great detail which prompted me to try the steak soup. Indeed the soup was rich in flavor with notes of brandy. The chicken parm was delicious with crisp breading under the layer of bubbly and charred cheese that enhanced the taste. The gravy was rich and reminded me of my grandmothers. The entree was well flanked by fresh bread with butter and a bed of spaghetti. Fantastic combination that perfectly fulfilled the craving. While traveling and away from family it was nice to be in an atmosphere where friends like family gathered fondly. Angie and the service was prompt and ensured my unsweetened tea didn’t run low. I wish I had room for dessert. Highly recommended. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Far cry from fine dining. I ordered an Old Fashioned, watered down for my taste. Had the Chicken Parmesan. Menu said pan fried, I doubt that as it was very dry. I asked for some extra sauce and was charged $2.00, seriously? My first and last visit. Price per person: $60–70 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

I can’t say enough about how fantastic my experience was at the Ovalon this evening. I haven’t done there since the 1900s lol and to say it is as good as we’re better than I remembered would be an understatement. I dare write this review in the hopes that not a lot of people read it so I can easily get a reservation in the future highly recommended. If you haven’t been there in a while I suggest you check it out. Price per person: $60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
