I can only say this was probably the BEST brunch experience I've had in years! Walking into this establishment was quite a treat. One is greeted by the hostess and a keypad used for a self-sign-in wait list. Then there is a small waiting area with delicious complimentary coffee and cream. I made my way to the restroom in the rear of the establishment. I was happy to rate the loo a 92%. It was respectably clean and sanitary with a clean double basin, hot water and easily dispensed paper towels. Observing the freshly prepared dishes on the way back to the waiting area was eye-candy. Our hostess saved a corner table for the 3 of us. Our waitress Jenna greeted us with drink recommendations and food selections that were her favorite. Jenna made me a Bloody Mary of the likes I've never had before. I can truly rate that brunch cocktail a 100%. It was perfect. My Tuscan Benedict arrived perfectly on a crispy toasted English Muffin (per my request) with fresh prosciutto and a sliced tomato that tasted like something from the Italian countryside. It too was a perfect 100%. My orange juice was freshly squeezed and truly satisfying. My son's pancakes were deliciously mouth watering. My wife's carefully crafted BLT with Apple wood smoked bacon, Havarti cheese, and baked potato soup also garnered a 100%. Jenna gave us the check, offering a cup of coffee to go and an ice tea for my son. This EXCELLENT SERVICE that definitely was also 100% earned Jenna a $100 tip! How could I not reward her with such a surprise after I truly was happy to eat brunch with first class service at a sparkling clean restaurant (unlike the last restaurant in Trinidad that I reviewed) with ambiance? Speaking of ambiance, the 10 bladed "BigAss Ceiling Fan" - that's actually the real name of that fan - rotated quietly and gently above, circulating the air. The lofted ceiling above was also sparkling clean and free from dust. "Urban Egg a daytime eatery" on N. Nevada in Colorado Springs will be my go-to place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch whenever I go to Denver. I certainly hope they open a branch in Santa Fe!
