I ordered beryani mixed curry , I paid 14 pound , there was very small pieces of chicken and I.mean small 4 pieces of.lamb and horrible shrimp like prawns I was devastated , I could not find the meat as there was that much rice, where was the omelette that should have been on top. Not impressed. Meal type: Other Price per person: £10–20

Visited Panchi on Friday night. Absolutely fantastic. It's warm and cosy design makes it a nice space to spend a couple of hours. The staff are fantastfic and the food is near perfect. For a small restaurant on a Friday night, my party of 6 (including two children, one of them only 18 months old) was met with a warm welcome and a good deal of patience - no rush to order and no problem in getting the kids food out ASAP. Food was 10 / 10. The Lamb madras was one of the best I've ever had. Garlic Chilli Fry starter was excellent. The rest of my party voiced similar sentiments. Beer perfect - Cobra was crisp and cold. Clean line. Panchi is easily the best Indian food in Whitworth, and probably the best around Rochdale. I am a fan of it's sister restaurants (Pavillion, Pandora, Amor etc) but Panchi is a step further. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
