I'm rather disappointed with this place. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't really good either. I ordered the pork belly, but someone got their wires crossed and they brought me bao buns instead - someone else from my group also received the wrong order. The second time around they did bring me a pork belly, but it was quite the small portion, and it was overcooked, which is a particularly notorious crime when it's advertised as slow-cooked, and the most expensive dish on their menu no less. I won't say this is a rip-off, but the quality of the food and the service certainly does not match the price tag, particularly for Mexico standards. Price per person: MX$1,000+ Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

they cook their food in margarine, not butter, so it doesn't taste as good. the little pieces of "butter" they give with the breakfast pastries are also margarine. the fresh cheeses are good, though. the breakfast sausages seemed to be very full of meat vs. fat, which is very good. However, they didn't taste that fresh. the chopped fruits at the breakfast buffet and yogurt and granola and cheeses were yummy. great ambiance and gentle resort music plays in the background. the staff is very friendly and attentive, although I had to get my own utensils, which was relatively minor.
