Visited the PF Chang’s in Witchita KS while traveling. Our server Emily was awesome it was just after lunch and she gave great advice on the menu and we never had to ask for our drinks to be refilled. Awesome experience. Thank you Emily Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We've been here one other time and had to send back both entrées for something we liked. We didn't leave a review then, in the hopes it was just a bad night. Now, cut to last night for our 2nd visit. We had a reservation but still had to wait because our table wasn't ready. The table was too small for our party but they said no booth (but I didn't see an option to request one). Many booths opened up but we weren't offered one, while smaller 2 people crowds had large booths. THEN, they forgot our drinks AND appetizers, which all came out AFTER our entrées. My spicy chicken tasted more like sweet & sour than sweet and sour does! The crab wontons were very fishy & mushy, so we sent that back too. The icing on the cake, the waitress poured sauce/oil on the hot dumplings which created a cloud of steam in my face, which she kept pouring for a solid minute while my glasses fogged, I coughed, & was embarrassed in front of the entire restaurant! We had a $250 ticket just the other night at Vora & it was our best experience ever, only to have our worst experience last night! Comping the bad food just didn't justify the poor experience and us not leaving bad reviews. I'll give them a chance to make this right & I'll update this post, otherwise, the rest of our group will leave bad reviews & we won't be back! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The service here on a several occasions has been lacking. Once, we have had to call the restaurant while inside to get water refills despite numerous employees around. Yesterday, it was one thing after the next. The food runner brought my grandma's meal out before the appetizer and 10 minutes before my entree. If this is P.f. chang's policy, they've badly miscalculated the culture in Kansas. My silverware was taken as we were seated so I had to grab one from another table. There were crusty water marks on the wine glasses. It's winter and the A/C was cranked, so we wanted to get out of there quickly. We had a good waiter though. I ordered miso dumplings and I guess P.f. chang's is playing it safe and not leaning into the complex flavor profile of the very ingredient in the dish's name. Good, but flat. Not a lot of attention to detail here. I would appreciate if the servers made personal touches like introducing themselves so it doesn't feel like I'm eating at a chain restaurant. The interior decor is "fancy" but everyone just wears sweats because the prices are low and the service is poor. The vibes are confusing.
