Just so everyone knows, PaPa Mo's is closed for business as of July 15, 2017 at the TCJester location. According to their Facebook page, they will be opening a new location called Taste in Katy in the near future. A real loss for the Rice Military/Heights area.

They do a great job on the Philly cheese steak sandwich, fresh and quick. Walking distance from the house, so it's convenient

Was in the area on business and looking for a place to grab a quick bite. Papa Mo's Deli fit the bill. Small deli atmosphere with a few tables available for dining but seemed more of a grab and go type of place. Was a one man show as the other guy who was supposed to be working didnt show up this day which we thought would make for a long wait, but the one man (who I think is the owner) made quick work of our order and the several others that were there as well. I ordered a pastrami sandwich on sour dough and french fries. I was hoping for a more mile high stack of pastrami as this place bills itself as a "New York" style deli but the pastrami wasn't piled high. Although it was a decent portion of pastrami more importantly it was very tasty. Maybe I should've ordered two. French fries were good as well but I wish he would've upsold me on adding chili and cheese to them. Overall, the place was very clean, service friendly and quick, and food was tasty (although far from New York execution wise and geographically) and was satisfying. I vote for stacking the meat a little higher and adding a buck to the price.
