A group of my friends and I visit the Outlet village at Sant'Elpidio a mare at least 2 times a year, shop in Prada and other stores, and each time we go to the Palace Cafe to have a snack and enjoy delicious drinks. And our bill is at least 200 euros each time. Today Sept 29th 2021 we just visited the Outlet village and at about 12 noon, as usual, we decided to go to this cafe. One of the members of our company entered the cafe first in order to visit the toilet and wait for the others at the table. But before reaching his goal, he was stopped by the waiter and had to listen to comments and reproaches for several minutes that he first needed to buy something, and then go to the toilet. We all, including our local Italian friends, think that the behavior of the cafe employee is completely inappropriate and outrageous! It is quite obvious that the toilet in this cafe is not the only one in the entire shopping complex, and most likely, if a visitor comes in, he will stay and most likely order something. A similar remark is permissible to make, at the exit, but not as at the entrance. As a result, we did not waste our time and money this time. Turned around and left. And most likely we will not be back next time. Unfortunately, such behavior of the staff casts a shadow not only on the cafe itself, but on the entire shopping complex as a whole. And now we don’t recommend that cafe But I strongly recommend that the administration pay attention to the behavior of its employees and reconsider the attitude towards visitors.
