What a fabulous place to eat. The food was amazing, NO WAIT, and a romantic setting without going into town very far. This will be a GO TO for us!!! Tony, our waiter was awesome too. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Deep sigh. It’s honestly disturbing when a manager and “chef” argue with customers instead of addressing a legitimate concern professionally. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana at Palermo Italian Restaurant and the eggplant tasted extremely sour. Not just to me — my wife and the rest of my party tasted it immediately and agreed something was off. We cook with eggplant regularly, so we know the difference between fresh eggplant and eggplant that has been sitting out too long or gone bad. Instead of handling the situation respectfully, the manager argued with our entire table. He insisted there were no onions in the marinara sauce (there were), claimed he had been cooking eggplant all day so he “knew” it wasn’t bad, and then refused to comp or take back the meal because of “the way it looked.” Of course the dish looked disturbed — I had to dig through the food to physically show him the eggplant and ingredients we were talking about. I should’ve taken a picture beforehand, but I genuinely didn’t expect to be debated over spoiled-tasting food. The most disappointing part wasn’t even the meal — it was the lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service. I also have the full conversation recorded. Such a nice atmosphere with some of the most flavorful pasta I’ve ever had. So glad we decided to give this place a try, the pasta trio was truly divine. Definitely going to be back Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
