The most authentic Italian restaurant in Sydney. Best gnocchi I’ve ever had, it was so soft pillowy and melt in your mouth experience. If you come, you must get the gnocchi in any sauce flavour. The grilled snapper was also delicious and cooked to perfection. I love coming and here and the staff are always so welcoming and friendly. Honest, home cooked Italian food in Sydney. Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Gnocchi Gorgonzola, Swordfish Fillet, Pasta Boscaiola, Calamari Fritte, Garlic Bread

Me and my sister used to go there many times with Mum and Dad in the early 70s, the 80s and in to the early 90s. The place has not changed since the early days which is awesome. In saying that Pan Roma is still one of the original Italian resturants still in leichhardt and since it opened back in the early 70s it is still run by the original family. Those family run places are so rare these days but it is great to still see them still here the way Sydney use to be back in the day, the Sydney we remembered. Thank you so much Pan Roma. The food is still amazing, the atmosphere still very nostalgic and the friendly family service is and always has being amazing. If anyone has the chance check out Pan Roma for themselves I recommend it. It is truly a great place to go for an authentic home cooked italian meal.
