I enjoy visiting standout cocktail bars when I travel, and Panacea is the best of the best. On previous trips to New Zealand I've planned my itinerary to ensure I have a chance to stop by there. Exciting and elegant cocktails in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The owner is passionate about whiskey, and on my last trip he made me an old fashioned that I still think about. Can't wait to go back one day. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This place is one of a kind fabulous! The atmosphere and the cocktails are so unique they're quite magic. And the bar staff are really wonderful - I have to say a special shout out to Leon who is not only a magnificent cocktail mixologist but a very exceptional human. I accidentally left my hand bag with passport and all inside and he tracked us down in the city and returned it to me personally. As I said, one of a kind fabulous. Six stars for these guys all round! Price per person: $60–70 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Paradise for people who love cocktails. A place where everything in the memu is a cocktail. I totally loved the experimental menu with lot of unique ones that never tried previously. Food menu could have been bit better as we went 2 times and both the time half of the items were not available. But excellent place in Auckland for the cocktails. Price per person: $60–70 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Cocktails are pre made so unable to cater any requirements
