We were craving their mille crepe and got the tiramisu and mango! The mangoes were a bright and perfect contrast to the whipped cream(?) and thin crepe. The thin layers made the flavors more balanced and the texture more satisfying! The tiramisu is alright, I couldn't taste much coffee from the thin chiffon-like layer but it was still delightful! Headline: Great cakes, but the service at Papermoon Cafe Estancia is a major letdown. I’m a fan of Papermoon, but the Estancia branch is a far cry from their other locations. The service here is incredibly unprofessional. We ordered several cake slices and coffees; the cakes arrived promptly, but we waited over 10 minutes for the drinks. When I followed up, the server was dismissive and didn't offer an apology. To make matters worse, our coffee was served in to-go cups. When I asked why, the server claimed they had run out of mugs—yet two minutes later, the table next to us was served coffee in regular ceramic mugs. It’s disappointing when staff aren't honest with customers. A great product means nothing without great service. This team needs serious retraining.
