Mediocre service. It seems like the attendant is doing the customers a favor. I used to eat often at Pastelaria Carmem but after this episode I intend not to go back. My pastry came dripping with so much fat that got into it from the fryer. I informed the attendant who promptly responded sarcastically: “there's nothing you can do, if you don't mark the pastry, Sueli (pastry maker) won't be able to identify what flavor it is. Is that so." It's not like that, and I say it correctly because I worked in a pastry shop for 4 years and marking the pastries can be done without perforating the dough, it was obvious that the fat would enter that way! That wasn't the problem, I know mistakes happen. But the way the attendant resolved this was mediocre and disrespectful towards the customer. When I informed her of the information mentioned above, she had the audacity to turn to the baker and mockingly quote what I had told her. Refusing to accept that the pastry really wasn't good for consumption. I paid R$14.00 for a pastry that made me feel uncomfortable and disgusted. Because people like this attendant repel great customers! Service: Dine in
