Okay, no room for us. First no reservation, we come at 6:30 p.m. don't know about the food and wine, it was their last evening, the welcome was lousy.

By far one of the best restaurants in Rennes, both for the atmosphere, the service, the discovery of new flavors each time, the team, and so on. With each new service there are discoveries at all levels; dishes with unique and always varied flavors, allowing you to travel thanks to high-quality local products, well-recommended wines that are difficult to find elsewhere, smiles among both the customers and the staff who seem to be bubbling with benevolent energy and comforting. In short, a place full of life where it is good to come and stop to remember that a kitchen can make us feel so many positive feelings and sensations. I was amazed to discover some of the comments astonished that a restaurant could defend political values, advocating a local, social and responsible culture. Indeed, I think that today it is enough to talk with a peasant or a farmer, and to set foot in an agricultural plot to realize that the situation is critical. Defending structural changes and combatting outdated visions is necessary to allow responsible cuisine to survive. I therefore sincerely thank the Pénates team for daily supporting farming and cooking models that are fairer and respectful of our environment.
