Pepe's Finest has been at this Fullerton location on Placentia Avenue for over 20 years! We were frequent customers when my wife and I lived in Fullerton (we now live in Washington). Now we come here every time we visit the area. The food is exactly the same as it was decades ago. EXCELLENT!!! The quality of the food is top notch with generous portions. I ordered a cheese quesadilla, and it's not like every other Mexican restaurant's quesadilla; it's not thin, this quesadilla is at least a half inch thick with Mexican cheeses wrapped in a single large flour tortilla. It's very oozy delicious! I also ordered a chicken soft taco and a carnitas soft taco both in flour tortillas with Pico de gallo. Both tacos had a large amount of meat topped with cheese and lettuce, and at least a seemingly half cup of Pico de gallo on each! After eating the quesadilla and one taco I was stuffed and took the other taco home to enjoy later, which I did 2 hours later cold from the fridge and still delicious. The meats were cooked to perfection and the Pico de gallo was some of the best I've tasted. The customer service is excellent and the staff is helpful with any questions you might have. I even bought a couple of pepe's t-shirts from them when I asked if they had any of the ones like the staff was wearing to remember one of my favorite places to eat when I went back to Washington! The service is very quick and they even have a drive-thru, which is constantly busy. Once you've eaten at Pepe's, you will be hooked on their tasty food no matter what you order. You can dine in, or outside in front in a mostly shaded area at the provided tables. Pepe's is easy to get to and located right off the 57 freeway near Cal State Fullerton for your convenience. I highly recommend Pepe's as your go-to Mexican food craving. You won't be disappointed. Girl taking my order at the drive thru acted completely oblivious to my questions about the menu if they have ground beef crispy tacos and she answers yes. I place the order of 2 crispy ground beef tacos and she says ok. Then asked another question about another item and no response. Then says anything else? I said yes an order of 2 ground beef enchiladas and she says we don’t have ground beef just shredded beef”so an order of 2 crispy beef tacos and 2 beef enchiladas?” I said no thanks!! Service: 1

Amazing Mexican food! I got breakfast burritos with chorizo and al pastor tacos and they were amazing with so much flavor, so much so that I came back every day of my trip to get more! The portions are very big and well worth the price. They have a drive thru, but I decided to call in takeout orders (which they didn't prepare until after I arrived, but that only took about 5 mins, which was fine). I sooo highly recommend this place!
