A friend tipped me off about this place, and I’d been hankering for authentic Thai food, so the timing was perfect, and it delivered. I got there before opening and was second on the list. By the time doors opened the place had filled up fast, but service stayed quick despite the rush. Everything came out fast and tasted superb. The food was outstanding, the prices reasonable, and the service kind and hospitable from the start. It felt fresh, clean, and authentic. Being able to adjust the spice to your own tolerance is a small thing that makes a big difference. The space itself is stylish, and it was full of families clearly having a great time. My favorites were the prawn toast and the corn salad, both standouts, but there’s a whole menu left to work through and I’m already looking forward to it. The food here is really good. The tom yum soup and green curry was amazing. I totally recommend ordering it. And the spicy juice oh my God. I ordered two because it was that good, and honestly, I wanted a third one but I was already too full. Even if you normally don’t drink spicy juices, just try it once. It’s really different and surprisingly delicious. The place itself is beautiful, and the atmosphere is very nice. But it’s also a very busy restaurant. We booked our table before leaving the house, and it took us around half an hour to reach the restaurant. Even after arriving, we still waited another half an hour for our table to be ready. We ended up sitting outside because for an indoor table, the waiting time was around another hour and a half. So if you want indoor seating, it’s better to book at least a couple of hours in advance. What unfortunately affected our experience was the way the table situation was handled. We were a group of girls waiting for one more friend to arrive. We had already ordered drinks, and once she was delayed, we went ahead and ordered food. While we were already eating and waiting for the rest of our order, one waiter came and asked if we were finished because there were many people on the waiting list. We explained that more friends were still coming and that we had already ordered more food. Then later, while we were still waiting for the food to arrive, another waiter came and asked us the same thing again. We had to explain the situation all over again. It honestly felt uncomfortable and a bit impolite, especially since there was no mention beforehand of a time limit for the table. If there is a two-hour policy or something similar, it would be much better to inform customers clearly when booking. It’s a really nice place with great food, which is why it’s unfortunate that the service experience made us feel rushed and unwelcome. Great experience at Phet Phet! The food was delicious, loved the chili wonton, prawn toast, tom yum, panang curry, and of course the pad thai. The chicken cashew and garlic pepper were also sooooo good. And the mango sticky rice is definitely a win! Shoutout to Shem, you are amazing. His recommendations were spot on he was very accommodating and made the whole experience even better Highly recommend! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
