Stopped on the way home to Benalla. The staff were so lovely and friendly. I took advantage of the specials (all of them sounded delicious as they were explained to me) I went for the gigantes with horta for an entree, the serving was big and every spoonful was amazing! For the main I went with the Lamb Ribs with all the trimmings - absolutely, melt in your mouth delicious! I took home a serve of Loukoumades, well they almost made it home hahaha soooo Yum! The atmosphere and mood was fantastic and as I said, the staff were so lovely! Destined to become a regular stop when heading back home from Melbourne! Booked the restaurant recently for our granddaughter’s Baptism and First Birthday celebration. We had a group of 60 and feasted on the Provincial Banquet. The food was fresh, authentic, absolutely delicious from the starters to dessert! It was plentiful and everyone commented on how delicious it was. Most of us waddled out of the restaurant from over eating. Anna, the owner, was absolutely divine! Nothing was too much trouble, she was very accommodating. She and her wonderful staff set up from the night before. We took the cakes, bombonieres etc the night before the baptism which were stored in their coolers. Anna attended the restaurant earlier the following morning to accommodate the cake stand set up lady and photo booth. The staff were lovely, the service was excellent, everything was amazing!
