We used to come here nearly twice a week but the prices have gone up to far now,. I know the cost have gone up but I think they are price gouging now used to be really busy every time I went in there but now I don’t see anyone in there. It’s a shame because the food is pretty good. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We've eaten here at Pho Inn for probably 5 years. One of our kids has severe allergies and we've always asked and been told they don't use the particular food item in the kitchen. This evening we tried to order over the phone but the gentleman taking the order could not understand our question about allergens - after several minutes and two of us politely asking, we had to ask to speak with someone else. The woman then said they do use the allergen in the kitchen and when we asked in what meals she then flippantly said "we have 70 items I can't tell you in which ones it is". Then when we've said how we've eaten there before she said it is in one desert. It's hard to know whether that's true and whether that's always been the case - and they've lied in the past - or whether they were just tired of us, ie dealing with the allergen issue, and they wanted us off the phone asap. Now this is expensive food, and we've gone there reasonably regularly because they seemed to understand the situation. We won't go back. And frankly, we're tired of restaurants finding it too difficult to deal with food allergy - it's not good enough!!! Thankfully another restaurant VERY nearby does take food service seriously (thus the photo of the email received afterwards where they actively seek feedback to improve their already very high food service standards) ...
