(1of2) Allow me to share my experience of what happened to me at Pinky's located in Huntersville. I always come to this establishment and spend a large amount of money with family and friends. I have built great memories at Pinky's with family, friends, neighbors and colleagues. I work for one of the top 3 organizations in the US and I'm one of the Executive Escalation Members. In our community, our kids celebrate their graduations, achievements, etc..at Pinky's for us to dine, eat great food and share laughs. I'm loved by most and have a very great upbeat personality. But what happened to me today at Pinky's broke my heart. Please excuse my long review because I'm in shock. Please understand I really loved this place and it hits home for me. But unfortunately, today, will be the last time I would ever visit Pinky's Westside Grill in Huntersville or Charlotte and it hurts. I am so shaking up of what happened to me that I'm in tears writing this review. I had the taste for some good ole burger and there was only one place that could satisfied my hunger and that's Pinky's. I jumped in my car and drove to Huntersville and placed my order for a $16 Triple G at 9:00 pm last night. Once I arrived home, I was shock to discover that the buns were missing. The next day I called Pinky's and spoke to the manager Ben with a smile. I express to Ben that I work remotely and would like to rush over to Huntersville from Charlotte during lunch to have my burger replaced. He replied yes. I also request due to the inconvenience can I get a small burger, NOT a Triple G, he said yes. I called Ben back to inform him that I notify my job of being about 35 minutes late from lunch for travel and he promised me the burger will be ready so I could return back to work on time. I immediately jumped in my car and start heading down the highway. Once I arrived my order was ready but I also noticed it was only (1) item the Triple G. I informed the manager "Ben" of our conversation for a small burger (on the house/free) for the inconvenience. He said he didn't recall that. So I said, "Okay, well I would like to purchase a small burger for any discount you would like to give me, it dosen't matter what the % is" He denied my request. When I asked why he denied my request to purchase a small burger at a discount. Ben immediately grabbed my bag, slammed it on the counter and got loud towards me. I kindly asked Ben why is he being rude towards me? Why is he getting loud in front of customers? I slide the bag back to him and asked for a refund. He said he will not refund me. I asked could I speak to someone else, he said no and walked away. I called to another Pinky's store and expressed my concerns begging for help. I shared with the young lady of the incident from Ben for requesting a discount on a small burger in which I proceeded for a refund. The young lady placed me on hold and said she spoke to the owner, Andy who said he will be there in 15 minutes. I felt some relief that the owner really cares. Ben called the police and I was approached by Huntersville Police Officers. At this point, I spoke with officers and shared with them that I was told, the owner Andy is on his way. The officers then approached me again and said Ben told them that the owner Andy wants me abandoned off the property. I was shock ,confused and left peacefully and hurt. I was treated like a criminal. I never encountered any involvement with authorities. I couldn't stop crying. I called back to the other store and asked the young lady what happened.
