I used be a big fan of Pita house but on our recent trip Pita house food was a disappointment and let down. Very next day we walked into Pita Inn which was very close to our hotel. Wow blown away. Great food, portion size was big, customer service was outstanding and staff was very friendly and to top if off their hot sauce and tahini sauce were delicious (& I guess unlimited). This will my new fav restaurant!! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes

The best falafel I've ever had. Crispy on the outside without it being burnt and dry and still soft and slightly moist on the inside. The sandwich is just everything stuffed into a pita, most of it is vegetables. If the wraps and sandwiches aren't leaking everywhere, then the meat isn't marinated enough and the meat here is flavorful. Really hard to get to through the parking lot though. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Recommended dishes: Beef, Beef Shawarma, Spicy Chicken Shawarma Wrap, Spicy Chicken Shawarma Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section Vegetarian options: Falafels are quality

Food is phenomenal. Great quality, savory, flavorful and fresh. My husband and I used to frequent the original location in Niles on the way to Evanston Beach. We moved and the closest ones are Naperville and Wheeling. Favorites are the combination feast that features tender chicken breast, shishkabob, lamb kabob, a falafel, yellow rice and salad. Comes with tahini and a spicy sauce. We get the grapeleaves, extra pitas and garlic sauce. The kunafa and baklava are excellent here. I have them warm up the kunafa at the end of our meal. They have a good range of drinks from fountain to mango drink, ice mint tea or tamarind drink. All fresh and worth the trip. We drive out an hour and take leftovers home, because there is no replacement. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
