It was OK, just a party location if you go there as a group. You are dependent to a certain extent, either your own group is huge and you have a party, or you are a smaller group but then of course dependent on the other people who are there. Food was OK, not bad, but not great either. Service was good. Prices are still OK (when it comes to beer and spritzers). So overall everything is good, but you don't have to have it three times a season. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

The stars are only given for the outstanding and very attentive service. As far as the food is concerned, the Platzhirsch-Alm didn't deserve a single star for the 3-course menu, which costs €49 per person! The starter consisted of 4 cubes of mountain cheese, 1 slice of brie, home-made liver sausage, greaves lard, 1 slice of sliced ham and some Obatzda draped on lollo rosso. The whole thing was served in a cardboard bowl as if you had ordered something to go. The starter was also definitely the best of the 3 courses! For the main course we had juice goulash with red cabbage and dumplings. The goulash was tender, but the taste, like the sauce, was absolutely neutral. The red cabbage was just bland without any taste! Instead of a potato dumpling and a bread dumpling as listed on the website under the menu item, there were two bread dumplings that had the comparative consistency of a tennis ball. The food was at most lukewarm. The finale was a Kaiserschmarn which looked very good in the cast pan but tasted just as neutral as the main course. There was nothing caramelized, no raisins, no buttery taste, just nothing! Only the applesauce in the glass was tasty! When we complained to the service lady about the food, we were told that we should write an email because the food was pre-cooked by a flour company and the on-site kitchen had no way of changing the taste of anything. Conclusion: The food and drinks were absolutely not justified for the price. After all, we paid €325.00 for the evening for three people! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
