Very unimpressed. I am a Hobart resident. on a recent mid winter escape to the Freycient region, we drove to Bicheno to look at land sales. stopped for lunch at " PORKS PLACE " for fish and chips for lunch. - big mistake - entering the café we found it to be very run down looked grubby ? decided we would get take away instead of dining at the tables. went to the drinks fridge to select a drink, noticed that some of the milk based products were out of date. should have listened to my gut feeling then and walked out, but didn't. Ordered two pieces of " Flake " and chips and a Scallop pie. back in the car down to the foreshore to enjoy our lunch, one bite of the fish and in the bin for the lot !!!! - obviously not flake ( gummy or school shark - I know, I used to catch it professionally for a living ) some sort of defrosted Trawl fish, and in uneatable condition ABSOLUTELY DISCUSTING !!! - OLD AND OFF. Scallop pie one bite - same - frozen defrosted and heated in...
