This was the worst food I have ever seen and I review Fine Dining Establishments on a regular. High End Retailers Secret Shopping all of the Above. I went here today to get my 84 year old Mother something to eat on a Carry out. I didn’t look at this Trash they sold me until I had already left. It wasn’t fit for a Dog. My 11 year old grandson could have cooked a better Meal. It was the $10.99 Meals they have. It was soooo small and the food was totally Gross ? looking. I got Chicken Fried Steak and Mash Potatoes. Also Lima beans. I was given a Dark Chicken Fried Steak two Tablespoons of Lima Beans. I asked for Brown Gravy on the Meat and Potatoes. I received A white gross gravy on the Meat and a Brown Package Gravy on the Potatoes. I promise if the food here is rated Good they had to lose their Best Chef. The one they Have now should be FIRED IMMEDIATELY. The Owner Should be Ran out of town because he had to see what is being sent out of his Restaurant. I have photos to Back what I am Saying Up. I will find somewhere to Post them. Ridiculous. They can’t have Bad days like this to much more the Cook will shut them down not the Pandemic ? Maybe the Cook was lost in the Pandemic

We visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning on a recent trip to Gulfport. The breakfast was pretty good & plentiful (big pancakes), however the service was not great, no fault of the waitress as apparently she was the only one there other than the cook who it appeared also had to help bus tables due to lack of staff. Do not show up at 10:45am for lunch as apparently they will not serve lunch until 11:00 & only breakfast is served prior to that.

This is my first and last time dining at Port City Cafe. The staff was extremely nice and friendly and the food came reasonably fast. On the other hand my coffee tasted burnt, the shrimp in my shrimp-n-grits order was disgusting, and the bacon I ordered came 30 minutes after my meal and was yucky. Lastly, the table and other items on the table was sticky and just not clean. I would be much happier going to Waffle House.
