You ever heard of a one-horse town? Well, that’s kind of what Port Rexton feels like after about 8 p.m. There isn’t much happening in this beautiful, quiet little town once the evening settles in—except, of course, at Port Rexton Brewing. So where do you think everyone ends up? Every night we went, the brewery had probably 20 to 30 people hanging out, having a few drinks and enjoying the atmosphere. Jokes aside, the place is fantastic. The beer is terrific, the brewery itself is beautiful, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want from a small-town brewery. Most importantly, the staff are absolutely incredible and really add to the experience. Make sure you call in, grab a few pints, and enjoy it. It’s a great little spot and definitely one of the places that gives Port Rexton its character. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awesome place with awesome food. The grilled cheese sandwiches were outstanding. I am not a craft beer person, but I actually did have a beer that I liked (Small Trek). My niece, who is a craft beer person, loved the flavours she tasted in her flight. We actually returned there later in the day to buy some to go. Noticed then that they had live entertainment. Price per person: CA$10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You have to stop in at the Port Rexton Brewery + Tap Room after your hike on the Skerwink trail. Good beer, good food from a food truck in a pet friendly environment.
