Clearly exceeded expectations. The catfish was very nice. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff, also regarding non-alcoholic options. Would love to turn up a degree or two in the room, but now it wasn't full, maybe that explains a little cold. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: kr 600–700 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Porto Gastrobar is one of few restaurants I've been to in Malmö where you can enjoy a perfectly prepared (and huge!) sirloin steak for a reasonable price. The service is really good, too. And the location, next to the world-famous skyscraper Turning Torso and just a few hundred feet from the sea, added nicely to the atmosphere. As a visual artist, I've been documenting (in books and films) this area for two decades. Restaurateurs have come and gone. Porto Gastrobar is one that I hope stays for a long, long time. I've tried most restaurants in this area (Västra Hamnen (the Western Harbor) and none come even close to the service level and eating experience I've had at Porto Gastrobar. Highly recommendable! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: kr 300–400
