The view here is awesome, and the food was unmatched. The bread & spread were awesome. I've never had homemade naan as good as theirs. The clam chowder was good and the chips, salsa and guac were really great. Hands down a must eat if you are visiting this area. Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian and vegan options. Went to Poseidon Restaurant Del Mar last night for dinner with my parents, and while it is a little pricey (nearly 250 sans tip) it was so worth it. Our waiter, I wish I caught his name, was awesome. He let us sub sides at no extra charge, gave great recommendations, did not let our glasses sit empty for even a minute, he was so attentive. We ended up getting the beef short-ribs, the filet mignon, and the 16oz NY for entrees, dad had clam chowder for a starter. I subbed my asparagus out for their truffle fries, absolutely amazing. I got a non alcoholic mojito and it was pretty good, never had it sans the alcohol before so it was a pleasant surprise. We all had Arnold Palmers, and I'm usually not a fan as I typically order just tea, but it was as delicious as sweet tea. Everything was beyond satisfying. And the portions were definitely portioning; we all had leftovers. Mind you, my dad is a big guy standing at 6'9", and he didn't finish his entree even though we hadn't eaten for more than a couple hours before getting there. I have at least a whole 'nother me sized meal and maybe a small snack left over that will definitely be gone before tomorrow evening (I don't eat a whole lot in one sitting, so don't expect two meals and a snack out of one entree please. Especially if you can really put it away in one sitting ). He gave me a whole meal of just the fries. They come with some sort of sauce, a very light orange-ish colour, that you can tell is mayonnaise based, but it was still good. We definitely did not match their usual (at least for tonight) clientele. We were the only people of colour. Some places out here can be a hit or miss when it comes to the way you're treated. But service was on point and there were absolutely zero issues or complaints. 10/10 service and food. We didn't do their valet as it was temporarily full so $6 gets you 2hrs if you park at the meters in the same carpark but in front of whatever motel that is on the same lot. I have a newborn so we had a stroller and they were able to accommodate us where we had her stroller on the side of the table and it was not in anyones way. We chose to sit outside and they have so many heaters that I actually had to switch sides away from one of them because I started overheating. I've already started making plans to go again in the future. Would completely recommend them without hesitation! I'm going to stop my review here because I could write a whole essay about my experience. Oh and side note, he took all our plates back and boxed/bagged everything up for us. Which he absolutely did not have to do. Almost slipped him my number so I could get that type of attention at home LOL
