Food was bland and tasteless - never had jerk chicken without flavour before and the rice was mushy. Service was very unfriendly- we were the only people in the store and no interest in answering questions about the menu. Food: 2 Service: 1 Price per person: $10–20

Hello Anna, We’re truly sorry to hear that both the food and the way you were treated missed the mark for you, as your experience is not what we want for anyone who visits us. Your feedback is important, and we’ll be using it to improve on ways how we can offer warmer hospitality along with the flavors you expect. Sincerely, The Potluck Caribbean Cuisine - Meadowvale Team

Potluck Caribbean Cuisine Meadowvale, Mississauga What a location! From the moment I walked in, I felt the warmth and hospitality. Great food, amazing staff, and an experience that truly stands out. I was excited to try the fried chicken, and let me tell you… it was everything I hoped for. It was probably the most perfect-looking fried chicken I’ve ever seen and the taste absolutely delivered. Crispy, flavourful, and delicious! I went with a sampler plate and got to enjoy oxtail, curry goat, curry chicken, rice and peas, saltfish and ackee. Every bite was packed with incredible flavour. This meal was absolutely unforgettable. But it wasn’t just the food that impressed me. The staff welcomed me with open arms, smiles, and genuine kindness. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was friendly, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was top-notch. Potluck Caribbean Cuisine is the kind of place you want to come back to. Great people, great service, and amazing food. Don’t miss out come down and enjoy a meal. You won’t be disappointed! I used to really like this location. I typically get jerk chicken with rice and peas with coleslaw. An older lady was cashing out a customer ahead of me. She then proceeded to walk over to the sink, fill a small bowl with water and without washing her hands used her hands to flash water on the chicken on the grill. Nice lady but extremely poor food handling. I was disgusted after seeing that will not be returning. Too bad because this was my go to spot for jerk chicken. The rest of the staff is very polite though.
