This cafe just feels like a true embodiment of the owners/staff themselves and what you get is a fantastic experience and a damn good cup of coffee. The place itself feels less eclectically decorated but rather more personally infused, including the cassette player providing a great atmosphere. Highly and genuinely skilled baristas who offer knowledge and conversation in order to give you the best cup possible, a passion of the brew itself, but also just kind human interaction. Won’t find an espresso machine here, hand brew only but for those of us who love a manual brew, all signs lead here. Lots of methods available to suit your tastes. Don’t get me wrong it can get busy and feel a little cramped with a few people inside, (being a small building) but somewhat added to the experience for me (understanding others could feel overwhelmed). I’ve been living near Cuba Street for the past few months and had no idea that this gem existed! My friend ordered a Pink Matcha (which I didn’t get to try, but was very pretty) and I ordered a Grey Marble. You have the choice of coffee or chocolate for the Grey Marble. I ordered coffee, but I think that the barista accidentally gave me chocolate. It tasted like a cold Oreo. Aside from this, I absolutely love the way that this cafe is decorated and the service is wonderful! I would highly recommend trying Pour and Twist out.
