I am so disappointed in this restaurant. First let me preference this review, this restaurant is walking distance to the MCC so logic would dictate that they would be ready for larger groups. Especially given that this is a restaurant attached to a hotel that's walking distance to the hotel. All of that to say. A group of 10 black professionals came and asked to be seated. The hosteess was so Incredibly rude, she refused to even consider accommodating us as a group. I am so disappointed and I hate leaving negative reviews. Tucked away inside the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis, Prairie Kitchen & Bar offers a delightful surprise. While hotel restaurants sometimes get a bad rap, Prairie Kitchen shatters those expectations. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The decor, as the name suggests, incorporates natural elements, creating a comfortable yet sophisticated space. But let's get to the good stuff: the food! The menu features New American cuisine with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients. While I didn't delve into the entire menu, the flatbread absolutely stole the show. The crust was perfectly crisp and flavorful, providing the ideal base for a symphony of toppings. Here's where my experience gets personal. Be sure to ask about the specific flatbreads on offer – they change seasonally based on what's fresh and delicious. However, the praise doesn't stop at the food. The service at Prairie Kitchen & Bar was exceptional. My server was attentive without being overbearing, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring my dining experience was top-notch.
