This used to be one of our favorite spots, but after today's experience, we are done with it. We were celebrating my son and his girlfriend's graduations, as well as my daughter's birthday. It was a rainy day and the place was packed, though we did have a reservation. The owner—who had always been friendly in the past—didn't even offer a greeting today. He offered us drinks, but since none of us drink alcohol, he rudely whisked the glasses away. He took our order begrudgingly. When the dishes arrived, they were all delicious—with the exception of my husband's meal. He had ordered a steak cooked medium, but it arrived overcooked. We called the waitress over, and she took the plate away with obvious reluctance. Twenty minutes later, she brought him a thick steak that was practically raw. Since we had all finished eating by then, they cleared our plates and brought us the check; they didn't offer us coffee or dessert. The owner never came over to ask what had happened. The service today was abysmal—a truly terrible experience on a very special day for us. Meal type: Dinner

Wonderful food every thing was fresh but.. they should offer fresh Parmesan cheese grind in front of your plate instead of a small jar of Parmesan that you don’t know if is real cheese. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We discovered this gem of a restaurant with a simple Google search and decided to give it a shot, and we did not regret it! The food here is wonderful; during our trip to Connecticut we came once for dinner and it was so good we came back the next night. The seafood is to die for. And the prices are completely reasonable as well. The family that runs the place does an excellent job, and they make the whole experience warm and inviting. Primavera is a MUST for any trip to this area! Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
