Trying Vegetarian Food. I am not a vegetarian but want to expand my knowledge of vegetarian food. I am in Montreal training for work so I am trying lots of new restaurants. The restaurant is small but could easily accommodate a large group of people. They were willing to find chairs and set up extra tables. My friend and I ordered a bowl and a sandwich combo to share. The bowl was a mixture of quinoa, vegetables and a spicy bean paste. It was tasty and just a little bit spicy. The sandwich super good. It was a mushroom pesto sandwich. The sandwiches came with an option of chips or vegetables. We were given shots of freshly made juice and ginger cookies as well. The food is good but the drinks are amazing. I got a chai smoothie which was SO good. Also they make super good shots and drinks which are not expensive. 2$ for a mini shot and 5$ or 7$ for a large cocktail. The food was reasonably priced at around 10$ but the portions were not huge. But for the price and considering the food was real food and not greesy friend crap it was a good value for the price. I need to try the rest of their smoothies.
A great little vegan restaurant in the gay village with a fabulous patio in the summer. We sat outside and ate our lunch while a nearby quartet played classical music.
