Like an oasis in the middle of the jungle, at the outskirts of the town of Tulum, stands Qūentin with its emerald green bar, one of the most beautiful I've ever seen, welcoming weary travelers with our modern day elixir known as coffee. Of course, most of these travelers drive Jeeps and Mercedes and are Instagram influencers or wannabe ones. Needless to say, these beautiful people need their coffee too and Qūentin is there to quench this need. The coffee bar is nestled nicely inside Deer, a furniture and home goods store at the end of this chic strip mall, being as much as part as the decor that you'd think you'd be able to take this amazing fixture home, barista not included. The drink menu is simple but they do offer many refreshing coffee mocktails highliting local produce and ingredients. The promise of serving alcohol is latent, for those looking to retox after their detox at nearby Holistika Hotel. Coffee is roasted by their HQ in Mexico City, where Qūentin debuted as a coffee shop as early as 2016 and has since become one of the city's best. This coffee shop continues their amazing work, now in Tulum, where people from all over the globe are able to enjoy their coffee in a different setting and where this concept and bar becomes another design inspiration for those looking to refuel in this beautiful and unique part of Mexico.
