Absolutely Outstanding – Highly Recommend Quite Contrary! I can't recommend Sue at Quite Contrary highly enough! Sue created the most beautiful surprise afternoon tea for my friend's 60th birthday at our beach hut in Whitstable, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The stunning fresh berry birthday cake was not only gorgeous to look at but absolutely delicious. Alongside it, Sue provided a fabulous cream tea with freshly baked scones, as well as the most amazing cheese scones – all beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. What really made the experience exceptional was the attention to detail. Sue supplied picnic sets complete with cutlery, plates, napkins and even champagne flutes, picked up two bottles of Prosecco for us, and delivered everything directly to our beach hut in chilled boxes packed with ice so it was all perfectly fresh despite the warm weather. From the first enquiry to delivery, Sue was an absolute pleasure to deal with – friendly, helpful, accommodating and so easy to work with. She took all the stress out of organising the surprise, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy a wonderful afternoon celebrating by the sea. If you're looking for delicious food, beautiful presentation and exceptional service in Whitstable, look no further than Quite Contrary. We couldn't have asked for more, and everyone commented on how wonderful everything was. Thank you, Sue, for helping make a very special birthday even more memorable!
