Our guide Van de Jesus is a gemHe was professional, highly talented videographer/ photographer. He is very knowledgeable, has a passion for what he does and cares for the clients. We can’t say enough about him. Our boat driver is very well trained navigating the choppy waters of that lake. Overall, I would give that place a whopping 5, our “Bok yo “ tour guide as a bonus, also has a heart for Taal Lake. These people are who make Taal Lake thrive and give the Philippines Dept of Tourism a thumbs up in this area. Sadly, just a single person can ruin the whole experience and she is the front face managing collection of payment and paperwork. From the get go, she was rude then she tells us we have to pay in advance for us to find out she didn’t do the same for another customers We would not have found out if she didn’t try to charge us again Would have let it slide if she would have apologized for the mistake but the whole attitude shows greed and disregard for people. That can be a big deterrent for return customers, I strongly recommend that this woman Che be reprimanded. She might be doing this on a regular basis just in case someone is forgetful and ends up paying twice, a good side hustle for her To Che Your response is making me a liar. You never apologized, what you said was you got confused! I got witnesses during that exchange, you didn’t apologize at the time. And you never offered us to pay later. Stop lying because you are digging a very deep hole already. Apologies accepted today but the harm is done! It was very clear when you said we need to pay first because if not I would not have paid you right away. I’m very shrewd and honest. I can tell if one is not!

Hello mam, sorry for misunderstanding, i humbly wants to clear things you said towards me. I didn't do any rude things on you the whole time you're here in our place. I admit, i forgot that I already collected the payment before and did apologized to you the moment i remember. But you just ignore me. And as to other tourist, i also did offer you to pay after the tour, but you wanted to pay the moment i collect the payment. The only mistake i made is for being forgetful yesterday DUE TO MANY TOURIST that wants to eat and ride a boat. Again i'm very sorry ma'am for the inconvenience on your side, and I'm not a RUDE PERSON mam to you and to other people around me. Thank you and God bless you.

We booked a boat trip around the island. First of all : with all additional fees overall they try to charge you 6200 Pesos for 2 persons, far too expensive! Try to negotiate, we got it at the end for 3800. The trip is this money worth, a quite impressive volcanic island with a lot of birds and plants, since 2020 it is closed for people. This was the good part of our trip. After it, we were hungry and ate a lunch. What a mistake and disappointment All simple meals cost 550 Pesos per person and doesn’t come with any side dishes. You need to order even the rice extra. My BBQ chicken meal was not enough heated, still blood inside. At the end we had to pay an additional service charge, 70 Pesos per person. Unbelievable! We paid 1410 Pesos and hadn’t any drinks with the meal, because they offer only 1.5l Softdrink bottles. Under all circumstances avoid to eat here! Boat trip :5*, lunch 0*
