Reel Mac and Cheese were at Glow on Friday night. We've patronised them in the past so we knew that it would be pretty good. I can' remember what clever name was applied to the Pulled Pork and Bacon Mac and Cheese ( all their dishes have move related names - Reel Mac and Cheese ...get it?) but it was very good. On a previous visit I wasn't overly thrilled with the mac and cheese itself as I hoped for it to be cheesier. This time with the pulled pork it all worked together well. Last time, we had the Kevin Bacon Mac and Cheese and it was tasty enough but not the break though we were hoping for. Somehow the base product needs to really be special and by that, I mean cheesy! This was creamy enough and of course, bacon works on everything.

Had this at the PNE today and was excited to try it but it was the worst mac and cheese I've ever had. Tasted like plain noodles; certainly wouldn't qualify it as gourmet. Big, expensive disappointment. Throw some cheddar or something in there at least, it tasted so bland. I took it home, added what should be in a good mac and cheese and then it was edible.

So I only get the Godzilla which is loaded with Teriyaki sauce, Mayo and seaweed on top of the mac and cheese. It's honestly a delight and I enjoy my meal every time. I've never had an issue with my order so I can't speak to the problems other people have had :/
