The food was tasteless the curry chicken had no flavor no salt just plain bland food the cow Heel soup was sweet this is my second time giving them a try and nod I know NEVER AGAIN will I waste my money with them again too expensive for the area they're taking advantage of hard-working people by overpriced food and drink.... First time ordering take out from Rise Caribbean. This also the first time I had Guyanese food. What we ordered: Three large oxtail platters with cabbage, rice and peas. One large curry chicken with cabbage, mac and cheese. I had the oxtail platter and baby, let me tell you, the oxtails were falling off the bone. The oxtails had plenty of meat. The cabbage was tasty and crunchy which I enjoyed. The rice and peas were very delicious. Large size servings. The meal was very filling and rich. Everything was authentic and delicious! The blend of spices didn’t disappoint. Fresh ingredients. Everyone enjoyed their platters. Will we return: Absolutely, I would return and get the same meal over again. The food was fresh and delicious. The price point is good. Cost: $27 per platter. It’s a clean place. Friendly service. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
