Free parking close by. Food was freshly cooked and delicious. Family friendly (had lunch). Price per person: £10–20

Our favourite Weathersooins, the place was very busy with many Mum's being treated the day before Mothering Sunday. The staff coped well, and were courteous as always Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We use the Railway Inn and find it to be a place of two halves. People who use this as a good value pub or for good value food. The staff are busy and do their best to keep up with the volume of orders and customers. However if you have limited staff at busy times you must expect to wait and this also goes for the kitchen staff. Unfortunately these staff are the ones to receive the criticism. This lowers their self morale and motivation. Whilst having a bad meal, we were asked if it was OK? We said it was over cooked so unable to eat it. She was very apologetic and asked if we wanted a new meal or a refund. We were given a refund. Amber (we found out her name) gave great customer service that night and is always bright and helpful. We feel Wetherspoons external management, show a lack of respect for those who are working hard and under unnecessary pressure. This is reflected in ratings above on this occasion. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Price per person: £10–20 Recommended dishes: Chicken, Fish and Chips
