This is a very strange concept for a restaurant...they have anything you want or desire as long as it's chicken fingers, and they "cook to order" :: eyes roll :: If you want a big tub of chicken fingers at an excessive price with only one sauce (getting another sauce has proven to be difficult unless you are fine with a packet of hot sauce to mix into the regular sauce) then this is the place for you. The chicken texture is actually pretty reasonable as it strands like chicken muscle does and doesn't feel like it's chopped and formed so I'll go out on a limb and say it appear to be real chunks or slabs of chicken that are breaded? That's my guess at least. The most interesting thing is that the chicken itself, devoid of any breading or sauce, has almost no flavor except maybe a small hint of brine flavor but void of anything identifiable to the point that its disturbing to the taste buds as they expect it to taste like chicken. It looks like chicken, feel like chicken, smells like...er...like breading...but no taste. This is more specific to Raising Cane's recipe than anything attributed to this specific restaurant but it's part of their brand and what the chicken tastes like so fair to report on. You need a sauce to actually taste anything but the sauce is ok I guess and smothers the chicken with some much needed flavor. I wouldn't expect a place like this to survive but it seems to be super busy every time I pass it so I guess I'm missing something that everyone else is getting from it. Remember you can ask for a replacement on fries, bread or cole slaw. Don't like cole slaw ask for bread. There are 4 menu items 3 piece tenders, 4 piece tender with cole slaw, 6 piece with cole slaw and chicken sandwich. Also what they serve is in the name. Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers. It's in the name. Yeah there is only one sauce. I tried Zaxby and Slims and they are okay but too much choices and sometimes less items are a good thing for picky eaters.
