Would give this place a 5 stars with some remarks. I read some reviews about their bad customer service, which I’m already prepared myself incase that happen. But I’m Indonesian living overseas for almost 20 years and I doubt that they will be rude to you because generally Indonesians are sweet and polite, especially cafe/restaurant staff. Food: I ordered Yakiniku Rice Bowl, Banana Bread, Matcha Latte and Basic Tea. Yakiniku Rice bowl was alright, not like super fantastic but good. It was my first meal of the day and I finished that easily. Portion wise was quite small but it was only IDR 25K!! Really cheap. Suggestion: probably can make healthier version that doesn’t need to be fried, and add more veggies and topping (e.g. one boiled egg instead of only half), and increase the price a little bit if that helps. Banana Bread: One slice for only IDR 8K? What else can you asked for. Apart from its not warm when it was served to me. Honestly I was curious about this banana bread, tried it and didn’t disappoint me. Not too sweet but still have some chocolate (or chocolate chip?!) inside. Suggestion : maybe can make a healthier version that’s gluten free? Surely taste won’t be as good as the non gluten :) and probably the staff can ask the guest how do they want the banana bread to be served. Warm or room temperature, that would be great. Matcha Latte: I should’ve known that they mix their matcha with creamer (my bad I didnt ask) for the price of only IDR 22K. But it was okay, can just taste a subtle hint of matcha only, the rest was just creamer and milk. Suggestion: serve a pure matcha latte with real matcha powder that is not mixed with creamer or even sugar. Again, increase the price of course because one can of pure matcha powder would cost more than if you mix it with the creamer. Basic Tea: can’t really complain for IDR 10K. I feel that this is warung price but in a cafe. It has some jasmine flavor in it as well. No suggestion on this one. The service was okay. Basically you just order in the counter and they will serve you in the table. After they serve the meal, they will disappear and chit chat at the kitchen at the back, which you still can hear their voice . There’s a bell for you to ring if the staff not around, and you can just ring that if you need them. When they serve me that day, it was pretty normal. As Indonesian, I wouldn’t say they’re rude or giving bad service, but maybe they just being quiet and shy to customer. And maybe can’t really speak English. I get it people here in Bali expect the hospitality person to do more, but look at their food or drink prices, how could you expect them to do more if they only charge your food and drinks that much? Atmosphere: I came on Monday at almost 6pm and was only 3 tables including me. What a quiet and chill cafe. Probably if you come in the morning the vibe will be different. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: Rp 50–75k Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
