Red Bowls is a Japanese and Korean lunch spot in downtown Seattle right on 3rd. Around noon the line gets super long but they are so efficient here and able to crank out meals quickly. Read the menu ahead of time because as you walk in, they'll yell to you to see what you want and make it as you make your way up to pay. Around the time you get to pay, they'll hand you your food - it's incredible. Portion sizes are honestly massive and the taste is great, so it justifies the price even though it's not that expensive to begin with. Staff are friendly here so don't hesitate to ask them questions. If you can get here before noon or after 1pm, you'll have a better chance on not sitting in the line for 5 minutes (not bad at all). Easily one of the better bowl places in the city. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Bulgogi, Cowboy, Chicken Katsu, Tuna

Randomly went here with my daughter because we had to get a passport a few blocks away. Loved everything about it. If Im ever in the area again I’ll be back. Kid-friendliness: The owner was very accommodating to my 5yo, suggested a different dish for her, pulled out a fun kids drink for her, it was great, best part about the place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
