We had dinner here with chicken dumplings as starter. Followed by fried chicken with chilli and peppers and chicken noodles as main. It was a good portion of food. The covering of the dumplings were dry. Felt like they weren't made from wheat flour, but was from rice flour instead. It was served with vinegar rather than soya sauce which felt a bit too strong for our British taste buds. The fried chicken with chilli and peppers were very literal to it's name. It was a bit of shock may be because we don't know much about how actual Chinese food might be. But was tasty . I liked the chicken noodles. Overall good value for money but not for us to visit again. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great food, staff can be annoying sometimes though. Not sure if it's a racial thing but it's annoying. We ordered a lot of food and when wanting to take some to go because we couldn't finish, they cheekily tried to charge me £1 per container which I thought was the ultimate slap in the face considering the amount spent was between 120 and 150 pounds. When I came here with non black people, they made us pay at the end but when I walked in with my black partner, they made us pay as soon as we picked what we wanted from the menu. Have not been back since. The food is amazing but I hate that my last impression was such a horrible experience They should spend more time cleaning than judging as the table and booth we sat in were sticky Price per person: £60–70 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

This is a review of a Chinese restaurant called Red Chilli in Manchester. I think the food here is quite delicious. First of all, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are large. The interior decor has a strong Chinese cultural vibe, making it feel like being back home. The taste is also pretty good, and I really enjoyed it. It’s been a long time since I had black fungus, to be honest. After just coming back from Iceland where there wasn’t much food, a few of us came here and ate a lot, and I think it was really good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
