This bar/restaurant is such a great asset to Tromsø. A really nice casual atmosphere with great food and drinks. That being said, the staff are what make this place special with particular attentiveness and a really welcoming attitude. Having a place to eat and drink out in Tromsø, where dogs are welcome is so unique. I hope more places will start to follow suit and realise that allowing man’s best friend to join us on nights out is the way forward! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

they kept the back towards us and the server decided that it was a good time to have his own dinner,while at work,when its a open kitchen,after we arrived,before asking us for ours.food was decent,reindeer burger with dirty fries. do not go if you want to feel welcomed Price per person: kr 200–300 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Firstly, I need to give a shout out to the vibe of this place! Incredibly unique character with individual art on the walls from customers but the biggest win for me was the music!!! Jana knows her tunes and treated our ears to some vintage drum and bass, UK garage, and reggae that really just elevated the mood of the place. It was an absolute joy to listen to her selections and a very talented DJ behind the bar just took this place to the next level. I also need to give props to Sasha for an incredible burger and fries, good beer, and wonderful conversation. It’s these kind of places that give a city like Tromsø its soul. In a world of identikit towns and homogenised places, you could be anywhere but Red D’light is uniquely Tromsø and we should celebrate these places as much as we can.
