The food was unbelievably good, the Pica Bowl might actually be one of the most perfectly designed dishes ever, but I’m a sucker for plantains. I also bought a chocolate tres leches that was just as spectacular. Only downside was this weirdo trying to play it smooth with the ladies behind the counter, but he was dealt with and it was a little fun to watch. He said he would return, so keep your eyes peeled if you go around 7pm, he’s hard to miss. Ive had a few different tres leches here and they were all amazing, but today for the first time I tried one of their savory dishes. The vegetarian bowl, and it definitely exceeded expectations. Decided to give Red Rican a shot today and we are extremely happy we did! The wife and I both wanted something different than the usual suspects today. Even with our two picky kids, we stopped in. We had a little bit of everything and even the kids were floored. Everything was perfectly done, well seasoned and phenomenal! The staff, although quite busy, greeted us upon entry, were sure to hand out menus while we waited in line and were very friendly and customer oriented. Very clean establishment, great vibe with the music and everything cooked fresh. It hit the spot and then some for that true authentic Puerto Rican flavor we haven’t had in a long time!
