I was excited to try Redd as I’ve heard so many good reviews so I decided to take my wife out for her birthday. She ordered a NY strip and I got the prosciutto pizza. We waited about 45min to get our food. The pizza was not that good, tasted bland and flavorless. My wife’s steak was good but for $65 it should’ve came with at least a side. We ordered a $14 dessert which was very small and not that tasty. I spent $160 for 2 entrees, 1 dessert and 1 drink. It’s overhyped and very expensive. I expected a lot better considering how much I paid. Our server was very nice but the service was extremely slow. Price per person: $50–60 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Close to 5 stars food, but I'll admit the expectations were sky high. Beet salad was PERFECT, just the right amount of dressing, amazing beets and chevre. Fabulous sashimi. Lobster risotto was a parmesan creamy delight largely devoid of lobster. Scallops were of exceptional quality, but just missed...ever so slightly over seared which tipped the balance to a slightly darker flavor. Dessert options were limited and our table passed. Most of our cocktails were good, but the pisco sour was not. Excellent service. Price per person: $100+

Redd absolutely delivered from start to finish. We chose to sit outside, and the atmosphere alone felt transportive — lush and intimate without trying too hard. The kind of setting that makes a friday lunch feel like you're exactly where you’re supposed to be. The meal itself was thoughtful in all the ways great restaurants should be. The tuna tartare was pristine and balanced — fresh, bright, and layered with just enough texture to keep every bite interesting. The chopped salad was crisp, deeply flavorful, and somehow elevated beyond what a chopped salad has any business being. The asparagus risotto was silky and perfectly executed, rich without becoming heavy, letting the asparagus actually shine instead of getting lost in the creaminess. And the lychee margarita? One of those cocktails you keep thinking about after you leave — nuanced, refreshing, and not overly sweet like lychee drinks can sometimes lean. Frank took exceptional care of us and struck that rare balance of being attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm without ever feeling performative. Service like that changes the entire cadence of a meal. Redd understands what so many restaurants miss: restraint, intention, and hospitality. Nothing felt overworked or gimmicky — just incredibly good food, beautiful surroundings, and a dining experience that felt special in an effortless way.
