Sadly, they seem to be neglecting the basics of providing a quality product. I cannot recommend this establishment and must warn others away.
The Good:
- My halibut was a huge piece of perfectly cooked-to-order fish: light batter piping hot, and completely delicious
- A large wedge of fresh lemon was provided
- At $13.99 (coleslaw and drink extra) the price was pretty reasonable since one piece is more than enough for almost everyone.
The Bad:
- Fries were also a generous portion but a bit greasy and overcooked. They also were not piping hot. I doubt they were made to order
The Ugly:
- The whole experience was doomed by the only tartar sauce provided: a foul-tasting micro portion of a no-name brand far inferior to the house brand in a no-frills supermarket. I tried to scrape it off, but the taste lingered.
Verdict:
Best avoided. IMHO. Better to patronize places with better overall quality and more respect for customers.
